Our story
We started from the part of the job everyone else skips.
Ridlin is an energy and power technology company built around a simple observation: the equipment is rarely what determines whether an energy system was a good decision.
Why we exist
Energy is one of the few purchases where the buyer is structurally at a disadvantage. The equipment is technical, the claims are hard to check, the failure modes take years to appear, and by the time a system underperforms the person who sold it has usually moved on. Ridlin exists because that gap is closeable — not with better marketing, but with engineering, documentation and a service relationship that outlasts the invoice.
What we believe
That the equipment is the easy part. That a system nobody monitors is a system nobody can defend. That an estimate presented without its assumptions is a promise in disguise. That earthing is not optional. And that a customer who understands what they bought is a customer who is still satisfied in year eight — which is the only kind of satisfaction that matters in an industry selling twenty-five year assets.
How that shows up
It shows up as a site assessment before a proposal rather than after it, a written scope with its exclusions stated, monitoring configured at handover instead of offered as an upgrade, and a service process that we run rather than delegate to a manufacturer’s call centre. None of that is remarkable. It is simply the version of the work we would want if we were buying it.
Where we are going
Solar is where most customers meet us, and it is not where the work ends. Storage changes what a building can do with the energy it generates; power technology determines whether any of it is safe and reliable; energy management is what turns performance from a claim into a measurement. Building all four properly, for the same customer, is the company we are building.

What we have not written here.
We have not published a founding date, a headcount, a customer count or a revenue figure, because we will not put a number on this site that we cannot evidence. When those figures are verified they will appear here and on our journey page — and not before.
