How we work

Six commitments, and what they cost us.

A value that never makes a project harder is not a value. Each of these has a version of the sentence that explains what we actually do when it is inconvenient.

  1. 01

    Quality first

We choose components on lifecycle value, not purchase price.

When a cheaper component would change the system’s expected life or serviceability, we say so and quote the better option as the default. If you want the cheaper one anyway, you will get it with a written note of what changes — not a silent substitution.

  2. 02

    Trust through transparency

Every figure we give you comes with the assumption behind it.

Capacity, generation, savings, payback, scope, exclusions and warranty terms all appear in writing before you commit. Where a number is an estimate we call it an estimate, and we tell you what would move it.

  3. 03

    Engineer with purpose

We design around the application, not around a standard package.

No proposal leaves without a site assessment and a look at your actual consumption. If a standard package happens to fit, we will say that too — but it will be a conclusion, not a starting point.

  4. 04

    Customer before transaction

We will tell you when the answer is to buy less, or nothing.

If solar does not make sense for your roof, or storage would not pay for itself in your situation, that is what we will tell you. A customer we talk out of a bad purchase is a customer who comes back.

  5. 05

    Own the outcome

The installation is ours, whoever made the parts.

If something is wrong with a system we built, it is our problem to diagnose and resolve — including chasing a manufacturer claim on your behalf. We do not hand a customer a phone number and call it support.

  6. 06

    Keep improving

Every commissioning teaches us something about the next one.

We record what we find on site and what we had to change, and it feeds back into how we specify and install. The work should be measurably better each year, not merely more of it.
