Most rooftop systems are quoted by kilowatt and compared by price. That comparison hides everything that determines what the system produces: the roof it sits on, the shading over it, the inverter behind it and the workmanship holding it together. We start with your consumption and your site, and the capacity comes out of that rather than going into it.

System design
Array layout, string design, inverter selection and protection, sized for the site rather than rounded to a catalogue capacity.
Structure and installation
Mounting engineered for local wind load, with penetrations and waterproofing treated as part of the job rather than an afterthought.
Testing and commissioning
Insulation, polarity, earthing and string performance verified and documented before handover, with the results given to you.
Net metering and paperwork
Application, liaison and documentation for grid connection and any applicable subsidy scheme, handled as part of the project.
Performance verification
Monitoring configured at handover, so the system reports what it is producing rather than being assumed to be fine.

Shading matters more than most people expect
A single shaded module can pull down an entire string. Where a roof has an unavoidable obstruction, string layout, module-level electronics or a different inverter topology are the answer — and which one is right depends on the roof, not on a preference.
The inverter determines more of your yield than the panel
Panels from reputable manufacturers perform within a narrow band of each other. Inverter efficiency, MPPT design, thermal behaviour and reliability vary far more, and the inverter is the component most likely to need attention over the system life.
Structure is a twenty-five year commitment
Mounting has to survive local wind loading, and every roof penetration has to stay watertight for as long as the array does. This is where cheap installations reveal themselves — usually in the second monsoon.
Sizing is a trade-off, not a maximum
The right capacity depends on your consumption pattern, your tariff, your available roof and your net-metering position. Filling a roof is not automatically the best financial outcome, and we will tell you when it is not.

How much roof area does a rooftop solar system need?
As a working figure, expect roughly 80 to 100 square feet of unshaded roof per kilowatt for standard modules. The usable area is what matters, not the total: walkways, water tanks, existing structures and shading all reduce it. A site assessment gives you the real number for your roof.
What happens to a grid-connected solar system during a power cut?
A standard grid-tied system shuts down during an outage. This is a safety requirement — it prevents the system from feeding a line that a lineworker may be working on. If you want power during an outage you need storage, or a hybrid inverter designed to island the property.
Will solar cover my whole electricity bill?
It depends on how much of your consumption happens while the sun is up, your tariff structure, and your net-metering arrangement. A property that consumes mostly during the day offsets far more than one that consumes mostly at night. We show you the split before you commit rather than after.
How long does an installation take?
The physical installation of a typical residential system is a matter of days. The overall timeline is usually driven by the approval and net-metering process rather than by the work on site, and we will tell you what that looks like for your connection before you start.
